Tiffany's swollen body was discovered on the Richmond Village foreshore in Essequibo on Wednesday afternoon, while her brother's headless corpse was found at the Affiance foreshore, also on the Essequibo, two days later.

Ten-year-old Judah died courageously trying to save his sister when a swimming outing in the vicinity of the Kingston Sea Wall turned tragic.

According to reports, the children's mother, Ms Paula Eversley, left them in the care of neighbour on Mother's Day, while she went to work at the Sunflower Restaurant and Bar. The neighbour then, reportedly, left the children with her "friend" and she went out.

Reports said that the "friend", a male, then offered to take Judah and Tiffany along with three other children on a swimming outing at the Sea Wall.

However, the children both perished, when little Tiffany began experiencing difficulty in the water, and Judah bravely tried to rescue her.

Their distraught mother, Paula, had appealed for public assistance to bury her children. The Chronicle learnt that the only assistance, Ms Eversley received came from the St. Pius Primary, the school, which the children attended.
