Agricola
nurse flees home
from toy-gun
bandits
A
28-year-old nurse had the scare
of her life at around 11:20 hrs
yesterday when three bandits
invaded her Agricola
public road home.
28-year-old
nurse, Sharon
Ramsaroop, fled through her
front door and raised an
alarm. Why?
The bandits, who
were armed with a toy gun, made
off with Sharon Ramsaroop's DVD
player, a quantity of jewellery,
and $5,000.
According to
reports, Ramsaroop was alone at
home when she heard an unusual
noise behind her house.
Shortly after,
three men, who were armed with a
handgun, forced their way
through the back door.
Indian-Guyanese
Sources said
that Ramsaroop fled through her
front door and raised an alarm.
By the time
police arrived, the robbers had
already made off with two gold
chains, two gold rings, and gold
bangles, as well as a small sum
of cash, and a DVD player.
Police
later recovered a toy gun from a
table in Ramsaroop's home.
