Three brave policemen yesterday afternoon shed their clothing and jumped overboard into the sea at the UG seawall and apprehended a man who reportedly snatched a gold bangle and a ring from a woman who was standing at University of Guyana Access Road, East Coast Demerara, awaiting transportation.

According to an eyewitness, the woman was standing on the road about 12:55 pm when a 28-year-old knife-wielding man believed to be from Plaisance, East Coast Demerara

This unfortunate car trunker was caught red-handed trying to steal parts of a car which was parked between Camp and Charlotte Streets on Thursday afternoon. He was tied to a utility pole and beaten by the irate owner of the vehicle, as several onlookers watched.
